I have Ubuntu 9.10 w/ xbmc "1:9.11-karmic1". Using Aeon theme, but other than that, defaults. Using the MCE ver. 2 USB remote.
I was expecting to find a ".lircrc" file in my home directory, or ~/.xbmc which I could edit to change the remote control button actions. On MythTV I used to edit ~/.lircrc to change button actions, but I don't see that file with my current setup. Does lirc work differently with xbmc?
Note, I know I need irexec, if I want to map buttons to scripts, but in this case I just want to change what existing buttons do, within xbmc.
