Sad
I want to have XBMC, I went out and bought a Acer Revo 3600 just for it!

I have tried installing XBMC Live to a SD card, which went fine, but I cannot for the life of me get the WIFI working on it, which wouldn't be so bad, but I also cannot read from my HDD (with Vista on it) to add to my library!

Would it make a difference if I was to install XMBC Linux with Ubuntu onto a HDD Partition? Would it then be easier to get the wifi working? Will I be able to read from my HDD?

If not, is my only option to run XBMC Windows via Vista? What would be bad about doing this option?

so... Which option do you suggest?
1. Bin it
2. Linux + XBMC Linux on a separate partition
3. Windows XBMC
4. Other

Thankyou in advance

I have ION 9300 and i can't setup wireless using windows 7.
I had to connect it with lan cable.

Yes, it uses ION. The wireless isn't a major problem.. The problem for me is that it wont read data from the internal HDD

Fixed the HDD problem... To those who are having the same problem:
On your CD/USB you need to edit the file boot/grub/menu.lst
You can open it in wordpad, if you remove all instances of "nodiskmount" you will be able to find your HDD on the next reboot
