CBC has lots of content available for streaming. There's an old script on XBMC Zone but it unfortunately hasn't been maintained and isn't working anymore.

I am specially interested in CBC sports since they will stream the world cup live for Canadians or so they say. It would be awesome to be able to watch the games via xbmc for people with no cable like myself. thanks |

Any progress on this plugin?
CBC has archived EVERYTHING they've aired over teh past 50 years or so, and much of it is available on their website. Passionate Eye, Dispatches, The Lens, etc. all bloody excellent documentary shows that air awesome content all the time. I'd give my left nut to get a working plug in for CBC.ca |

There is a plugin called Canada On Demand, that includes cbc, its horribly organized but it gives you live streams. I watched the stanley cup using it.

I see someone has made an attempt at an update, not sure how successful it is... (untested at this time)
https://github.com/howlett/plugin.video.....on.demand I should mention I still get some of the CBC (ugly) channels... Specifically the Nation News is broadcast each night, if you wait 12 hours or more... looks like they cut the commercials out for you, otherwise you get a space allotment between commercials you can jump over
