Adding folders on a USB Disk as media sources
#1
I could not find a solution in other threads, so this is my problem:

Ubuntu 9.10 karmic minimal + XBMC 9.11 on a ASUS EB1501

When I boot with the USB Disk (2TB) attached, XBMC mounts it without any problem. I can access it and play the files. But when I try to add it as a source via the ADD SOURCE function in the VIDEO section, I am not able to find or select my Disk.

Can anybody offer a solution for this issue? Do I need to add some configurations for special auto-mounting?

Thank you for your help!

Go to Files, and in context menu of your USB drive Set Content. That's it.

I already figured that one out. The disadvantage of this method is that I will not be able to unselect the source later on.....Is there another solution?

if you want to remove those files from library follow the same procedure, but change content to none. Smile
