Hi!

How do i get my Root access to work via FTP?

I have set a root pwd via SSH but when i try logging in via FTP or sFTP i get

Error: Authentication failed.
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

Haven't checked on live, but root login is normally disabled ssh access on most debian based distro's by default.

If you want it you will need to change your config - /etc/ssh/sshd2_config of the top of my head (not that i would recommend doing this)

Hi!

In the case of XBMC Live Root login is permitted in the sshd2_config file.

Well.. I just a 10000 time and it suddenly worked :-)
