Hi there.
I have a very strange thing to report.
I've downloaded the image .ISO and can burn it on a CD easily, also can boot this thing with no problems (Used Ubuntu Karmic x64 + Brasero).
I have a PC with no CD/DVD Drive so I decided to make a Boot Stick from that image (Using USB Startup Disk Creator).
Here comes the issue. When trying to create the disk after 42% the process raises an unhandelt exception "File not Found" - however the disk is generated after a while.
An uncaught exception was raised: [Errno 2] No such file or directory
The same happens when using the Boot-CD as source for the process.
Trying to boot that beast gives me a "missing linux" Error, seems there are some strange symlinks in the image.
To make sure this is not an issue of my SW / HW I used the same USB Stick and a Ubuntu Karmic standard ISO Image - and it works like a charm.
When I open the xbmc live ISO there is a unresolved symlink to debian in the root - maybe this causes the problems.
Can please someone prove, the Image is consistent and can be put on a stick with linux standard tools?
Thank you very much for any hint how to fix!
