I just got my Acer Aspire Revo 1600 and installed the ION optimized live CD. The install seemed to go smoothly. The problem that I am having is that when I try to browse to my NAS through smb it does not show up. The only thing that shows up in the browse window in "workgroup", and when I go to that it gives me an error message that says "connection timed out"

I have xbmc installed on my laptop and I can browse to the nas and add it fine (windows 7)

I confirmed that the network connection is working fine on t he Revo as I can ssh to it.

Any insight as to how I can resolve this?

got it working by adding the share manually
