hi,

i would like to use XBMC on Karnic with my graphic card ATI 5770 but, i can't.

After an fresh install of ubuntu, i install my linux driver from ATI.

i make a sudo apt-get install xbmc.

Evering thing works for now. But when i try to run xbmc, i have a black screen during 2 or 3 second and i come back on my gnome interface.

any ideas ?

Hi!

You should check first where the problem is. Does 3D work everywhere and you only have problems with XBMC? Or 3D does not work at all?

You might want to take a look at this to check how to get your card working, and how to debug problems.
