[LIVE] Uninstall XBMC and install a self compiled XBMC
#1
Hi,

I have the newest XBMC live running on my machine, but now i have a self compiled one with a couple fixes that i need to run.
Now the question, is it possible to go to the terminal, stop XBMC and install my own version? or do i need to remove XBMC complitly and install a minimal ubuntu first?

Kind Regards

Do you have XBMC live INSTALLED on your HDD or are you running it from the boot up CD every time

On Windows you can just replace XBMC.exe with your own version. All the other files stay the same. The same is presumably true of Linux, though I'm not sure where you'd find the executables.
