Now it works but it seems to be something wrong with the driver. Got this answer when checking it.

bash-2.05b# kextstat | grep crystalhd
bash: kextstat: command not found

bash-2.05b# kextstat | grep crystalhd
bash: kextstat: command not found

does doesnt mean, that the driver has a problem. the shell cannot find the command kextstat.

try

Code:
/usr/sbin/kextstat

Sorry Im a Mac/AppleTV newbie so I have a basic question... can I just FTP to the Apple TV using the ATV's IP address and frontrow/frontrow as UN/PW, or is there a special program to upload things to the ATV?

Thanks for the installer. CrystalHD working great on my appletv.
I used these commands to install, no need for sftp. Login once, retrieve the installer and run it.

ssh frontrow@appletv.local
wget http://overlord.fh-salzburg.ac.at/~asart...install.sh
sudo bash sa_crystal_install.sh

Just wanted to drop a line to thank andy for putting this package together.

For those of us that aren't incredibly comfortable in the world of terminal commands, kextloading, etc, this was a lifesaver. Between your work and some great instructional pics on installing the broadcom card from another member, I was able to get the card installed and up and running on 1080p content on my ATV in under an hour total.

Now, I get the feeling that installing my other card in my old 1.66 GHz Mini will be a somewhat more painful proposition, but I digress.

Thanks again!! Smile
