I am running Ubuntu 9.10 32-bit (generic-pae) on a ZOTAC GF9300-G-E with an Intel E3200 and 4G RAM: i686. I have followed this guide for installing it, though I had to skip the "Envy Next Generation (NVIDIA or ATI drivers)" step because the linked file does not exist.
I found two problems with Weather:
1. Weather cannot be selected as a startup page (a.k.a. home screen).
2. When the system starts, I go to the Weather page (manually, due to problem #1 above). There is no data on the screen - all fields are empty. I have to do a manual refresh to have the weather info updated.
