I have the CD burnt and now what do I do to get it to load so I can check out XBMC. I put it in the drive and turn the computer off then on and it starts booting, then it stops and ask for a username? what gives.

I think this means the X server couldn't be started, probably because your video card isn't supported. Try logging in with username xbmc and password xbmc, then type startx to try and start the X server. If X starts, right click on the desktop then choose Applications, Video, XBMC.

Its a P4 2.4 with a nvidea 5600. and 1 mg ram
