Is it possible?
I've been wondering if it's possible to have a single machine support playback on two different screens.
Obviously you would need either two video cards or a video card with dual display out, you'd also need two different sound devices, and two IR receivers/remotes.
But is it possible?
I don't play back anything more resource intensive than 480P h264, so no 720p and no 1080p.
Machine specs:
-AMD x4 Phenom II 2.8ghz
-8192mb ram
-Nvidia 9600 GSO 768mb
-various hard drives and onboard sound.
I'm trying to reduce the number of machines I have running at any given time, but this machine, sits largely idle, so I began to wonder if I could have it host two TVs.
