This isn't working for me.
When I click on downloads with this installed it locks up my ATV until I hit menu to go back then it unfreezes 2 minutes later.
I hate to remove the plist to get it working again. Any clues/

Hi,
I'm planning on getting an Apple TV soon, but as I will get a newly manufactured model, chances are it has Revision 3.0.1 on it. So I was doing some reading and testing lately (f.e. downloading the 3.0.1 dmg, building a patchstick with it etc.). So here's the question: Does this work with a Patchstick treaded 3.0.1?

Andy,
Thank you so much for your effort on this! It did greatly simplify my install!
One small item I did notice, and I don't know if it is specific to me, but the correct entries were not added to /etc/rc.local. Once I added/ran them manually, everything worked great! I did already have an existing /etc/rc.local, so is that something to watch out for?
Thanks again!! I really appreciate it!!!!

Just a small bit of information. I too, had an rc.local already. I was using it to fire up my samba binaries. After running your script, those entries were gone. Not a big deal, as I just edited them back in.
Thanks for the script!

Hi thanks for the script. I'm having a problem that after reboot I lose the Crystal HD option.
I can fire it off manually by going into putty and entering:
sudo chmod 755 /sbin/turbo_atv_enabler.bin
sudo /sbin/turbo_atv_enabler.bin
sudo kextload -v /System/Library/Extensions/BroadcomCrystalHD.kext.
I've checked and the rc.local exists and has the correct entries
Any ideas?
