davilla Wrote:To quote "There is also the new bcm70015 Crystal HD cards and these are also supported with this driver/lib/firmware provided you build from svn trunk. A release version has not been made the includes bmc70015 support yet."
You MUST compile from source code for bcm70015 support.
And from the download page "crystalhd kext, library and firmware based on r26" for crystalhd-for-osx-1.0.3.zip.
You're not paying attention to what is written

Scott B Wrote:I'm trying to pay attention -- honest!
I could swear that I read that a driver was compiled and released by Andy(?) which would save us from having to compile our own bcm70015 source code.
Maybe it was wishful thinking. :confused2:
davilla Wrote:Andy is on vacation right now He takes care of the updating driver/lib/firmware in Launcher downloads. I've asked him to hold off doing this until I got more feedback.
Andy did release a previous manual install version but it's not current anymore.
Scott B Wrote:So I'm not just making things up -- good to know.
Does "not current" mean "won't work for me?"
My bcm70015 card arrives Thurs and I'm hoping that it won't just sit there dreaming of decoding 1080p for weeks.

crystalhd kext, library and firmware based on r145 -> crystalhd-for-osx-2.0.0.zip
Now I have to tag and blah, blah, blah,
Scott B Wrote:In my fumbling around I just tried to use the installer in the OP. I figured it might fix whatever is wrong and that I could just update the driver/firmware/lib afterward.
R26 downloads and then says "An Error Occurred."
davilla Wrote:Turbo's web site is down, Launcher does a chained download that includes turbo_atv_enabler.bin and that's failing.
nodrugads Wrote:I am a noob but is the installer going to error out until turbo's site is back up? Is there a workaround?
