XBMC Live 9.11 doesn't start anymore
#1
Ok, so. I have Live 9.11 installed on a 2gb usb-stick. I've been running it for two days now, and it has worked (almost) perfectly. A few hours ago I had just finished editing Lircmap.xml and copied it to .../userdata. After I rebooted, xbmc stopped working.

After the first load screen (xbmc), it flashes briefly the "Starting up..." and instead of displaying the xbmc logo again, nothing. Just pure blackness.

I checked the xbmc.log and xbmc.old.log but they were hours old, so no help from there.

I've tried startx, but as the service is already running, all I get is some fatal errors.

I've revieved also the x.org logs, but afaik, they are too old as well.

All I know about linux is what I've learned with a few hours of hard studying this morning, and that's not too much. But if hinted where to look for it, I'm more than happy to provide any additional information.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: I tried removing Lircmap.xml, so that's not the cause.
