Hello

I have a problem with my AsRock Nettop ion 330 and xbmc. I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 and Xbmc 9.11, but when I want to play .mkv movies, it starts to stuttering ?

I have tried different settings in xbmc but nothing seems to help. My xorg look like this: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Minimal_NVidia_xorg.conf

Anyone had a solution?

But if I want to use XbmcLive, then I need to boot up on a usb pen or CD everytime I want to see a movie ?
Normally my AsRock 330 ION is on 24/7 booted up in Ubuntu desktop.

No problems at all playing 1080p movies through NFS share.
You can install XBMCLive onto your harddrive. But if you wanna have a desktop enviorment you'll have to install it.

I would still like to have a desktop environment because I also use my AsRock as FTP etc. So right now I have ubuntu desktop installed, is it then possible to install xbmclive or do I have to install XbmcLive and then install ubuntu desktop?
