red circle with white cross just before boot complete
#1
I run 9.11 live on an asrock 330. I recently updated my alaska skin, and ever since I get a red circle with a white cross just before boot. I had problems ftp-ing the sking over, so I am afraid I messed something up, but don't know what. if a debug log helps I'll post, but maybe somone knows already based on this info?

When booting I see:
first spinning logo
some "text" screens dos style (don't know correct name) stuff about harddisk
The larger XBMC black logo
Then that one dissapears, I see the red circle/white X for a few secs and then alaska is loaded.

Alaska needs and SVN build of XBMC, I guess there is some feature missing for Alaska.
Having it too, but I don't bother Wink

Thx. at least I know I haven't messed up then. haven't heard many people updating from 9.11 yet but if it is relatively safe I just might.

Don't know how safe it is, but I'll wait for the next stable.

thx but I use mouse every now and then. can someone point me to a thread on hoe to update live 9.11 to latest svn? should I add svn ppa to sources (from: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=33327) and then run the whole apt-get update routine?
