I've put in hundreds of hours into building my HTPC and trying different OS's, software, hardware combinations, and drive formats. Trying to get the most extensive features, and best system possible.
A couple months ago, I tried updating my ubuntu install and I lost power to the computer. Now it won't boot into the OS with a GUI and seems pretty messed up. That was kind of the last straw, I haven't touched it since.
I just want a reliable system now.
So the question is, what OS and configuration do I want? I'm able to use Windows, Mac, Ubuntu, XBMC Live. I'm ready to set it and forget it, do the XBMC updates, install new skins to play with, stream my iTunes library, and play my movies. Internet and Hulu content would be great also, that's one thing I miss about the Plex and Mac configuration (scold me now).
