[RELEASE] MAKO.CO.IL VOD (Video, Israel) Plugin for XBMC

Hi guys,

To those who live in Israel and wish to view Mako VOD directly from their XBMC, I want to introduce xbMako.



You can use this plugin to view all of mako.co.il VOD shows, just download and install in your video plugin directory.


Grab the latest edition here.
Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mr.kav, i'm trying the plugin but cannot get the videos working. it has the list of programs, seasons, but when i want to go into a certain season, it gives a script error.
i am using the plugin in an xbox, latest T3CH version 26941.
also, i am located in sweden and the videos work when i use the computer, but not in xbmc.

Hi,

Thanks for the download, I hope we'll get you sorted quickly with it.
I think it's an issue with the path handling and creation/deletion of files used for the cache mechanism.
Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of adding nana10 VOD to the plugin, so I won't be able to upload a fix for the next couple of days.

I'll write back as soon as possible with a new version and hopefully a fix

Scratch that, version 0.422 should have a workaround for you.
Choose not to use cache from the settings page, this should get you going till the permanent fix.

If it still doesn't work, any chance for a log file?

thanks, it worked after changing the cache preference in the plugin settings!
it takes quite a while for it to retrieve all the items in a directory, is that also cache dependent? but after selecting a program it plays well. looking forward to the ch10 vod ;-)

Great plugin, good work!

I'm using latest XBMC SVN, and while some shows work correctly, some crash XBMC or just won't start (Loading...).

Any idea? log file?

Version 0.450 released, you can grab it here.
The new version fixes some bugs and parsing issues with Mako. It still has some issues, but I'm working on fixes, some are trickier than others.

@Duduke - give it a go now, it should be better. But, please post the log if you have any issues.
@gilsil - hope it still works on your xbox
