Advanced SSA and ASS subtitle support?
#61
It works in windows already (or should do). It uses the same codebase as linux.

The only place it won't work is on the xbox.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

Question
Sorry to resurrect an old thread with my first post. But I wanted to know if this support is available in any Xbox build yet. Last version I have is 'stable' T3CH 2008-11-13 8.10.

Thanks for any info and great job on this software! Big Grin

Much like GravitySpec, this is a major concern of mine. Does anyone know if any work has been done/is being done for ass/ssa support? I need this for my xbox.

I use my xbox for everything, and with the addition of ass/ssa support it will be the most awesome media player on the planet.

You can also use Mplayer as an external player which supports ASS/SSA.

Arg, sorry. When I was posting that I thought for sure xbmc supported those without any issues. I overlooked the whole "xbox" thing. My bad, again. Smile
