XBMC Found the wrong "Life" TV Series
#1
I have BBC's Life on my PC
http://thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=series&id=118421&lid=7

and when scraping the XMBC found NBC's Life
http://thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=series&id=80352&lid=7

How can I sort this out?

Add the "(2009)" to the tv shows root folder.

anyone have any other ideas on how to get this to scrape?

tvdb has like 12 entries for this thing, and I keep getting the nbc series.

edit: figure it out...

named the folder Life (2009)
each file named "Life (2009) - E01.mkv"

You can use a "Supplemental Tool" to scrape any piece of media, and it will create a .nfo file alongside the media for you, which XBMC will look into for the information of said media instead of looking at the actual media file. If the program scrapes the media incorrectly, you can change it to the correct entry within the program and XBMC will read it correctly then.

My favorite program to do this is Media Companion. Many of the programs that do this are very mature.

Life (2009) as the folder name works just fine using thetvdb.com
