Did you install XBMC as an app for Ubuntu or XBMC from the LiveCD?

Can you provide more details on the specifications of this computer?

I have the same problem.

It's a Gentoo Linux running on a Macbook (with Intel GMA945). The version of XBMC is 9.11, installed from portage. Actually I didn't use XBMC for quite some time, so I don't now since when it doesn't work anymore.

Looks like a driver/library issue.

Can you install gdb, run xbmc again and post the generated crashlog on pastebin.

There is. But that won't help you much if you run a Linux system Wink
