Some questions

I have an ASrock ION 330-HT BD with full ubuntu installation, and i think i have XBMC 9.11, not sure Smile i dont know how to check. i used some of the guides found to install so i guess its 9.11.

Anyhow some questions:

1. How do i update my current XBMC to the latest nightly build? Is there any way so can get notified or automate the process? Do i just download from here http://sshcs.com/xbmc/, this file xbmc_28614-1_i386.deb and do what?

2. How can i disable the subtitles that are included in an MKV subtitle, and use the .srt subs located in the same directory? I tried changing the subtitles from the menu whilst the video was playing, and as soon as i clicked on the subtitle option, my xbmc crashes to the ubuntu login screen.

3. I am using IMDB as my content source. I have noticed lately, that whenever i add a new movie it retrieves all information but the year! It seems very strabge and i am wondering if anyone else is facing this. Maybe my prefs are corrupted or something. How can i reset my preferences?

Thanks in advance

* i have some crash logs? do you want to post them?

1) Google helps more on installing .deb packages, but the main idea is:

pkg -i file.deb

2) Please post the debug logs

3) version info can also be found in debug logs, and post a log when scraping for new movies
