hi. i'm using 9.11~beta1-karmic2 from PPA's. (built Nov 23 2009)
i have ext3 filesystem with files with names in cyrrillic (cp1251).
XBMC ignores these characters (giving lots of StdString: Assertion Failed on line 876), and shows empty names (or just the numbers and punctuation). i guess it would be similar with other non-ascii languages/encodings.
Is that something that might get fixed, or the only way is to convert all file-names into utf?
i've tried to tweak the few charset settings available, but to no avail.
