Only if XBMC itself starts the player with the fanart flag. JSON is still experimental in our code and it isn't even included in the releases.

So I upgraded to Dharma and tried the fanart flag thing but it doesn't work for me.
7 months after opening this thread, still no fanart support for the Android remote. Very disappointing

I don't see your point. Reading back in this thread it was discussed that what you're requesting is the Transparency skin behavior and completely independent from the remote application itself. Or did I misunderstand something?

Or did I misunderstand something? I got it just the other way round. It's skin independent and a missing feature in httpapi. No? Whatever the heck it is, I'm still hoping for a quick fix. Or if anyone knows a workaround, please let me know. |
