Turn off auto updating in the context menu of AddOns. XBMC does a very foolish thing when updating addons, it download the zip and instead of overwriting the directory it deletes everything then extracts the .zip file. If you have A.R running and it updates you can end up with an unusable screen. Usually easily fixed by going to another skin then back to A.R, but sometimes not as you found out.

When you want to upgrade, if you want to have NO issues, switch to Confluence then upgrade. When complete switch back to A.R.

thanks, I removed the old folder, installed this one. Still the same problem.

So I switched to the old alaska revisited mod skin, no problems at all.

Then I uninstalled (via xbmc menu) the alaska revisited skin, en reinstalled it (again via menu). Same problem again.

I dont have this problem with any other skin, what am I doing wrong?

We've already got one for DTS-MA but it's labelled dtsma.png so I assume can just change that.

DTSMA works.. I had to edit the nfo file and replace dca with dtsma in the audio section..

However, when using Dharma 10 when you play the file it will replace the flag with regular DTS. But with DSplayer it wont.

Thanks for the beautiful Showcase viewtype. Did you code it from scratch or borrow from another skin - almost 1500 lines of code :-o

Anyway I noticed the Kiosk mode setting was missing for it, but it was easy to fix. For anyone intereted, replace in file Viewtype_Showcase.xml line 1461 with:

The Showcase viewtype is really nice! I'm only missing som kind of watched flag, maybe placed next to the media icons.

Hi Hitcher, I Love the new showcase viewtype. I think I found a small bug:I use it now, and I have enabled kiosk mode. However when in the showcase viewtype you can still move to the viewtype settings by using 'up'. When I change the viewtype, I get stuck there, with the new viewtype (e.g. list). So it seems kiosk mode doesn't affect the showcase viewtype (yet).

Great work again, and I'm looking forward to your mysterious next project
