Hi,
i am using xbmc with success on my asrock 330 ion box.
No i want to watch DVB S2.

I want to youse VDR as the tv backend , and XBMC as the frontend (many tuts around this forum).

Do you think the little Asrock 330 ion can flawlessly present HDTV with an externa USB DVB S2 device ? (TechnoTrend S2-3600 DVB-S2 USB Box)

Would be great if that works, because it costs only around 75 Euro.

A good dvbs2 reciever costs much more.

Just an additional question: When watching DVB S2 tv with VDR and XBMC... is hardware acceleration used ?

The ion board has only an atom cpu...
