DVDInputStreams.a] Error 2
#1
Hi this was hikaricore's orginal post before forum posts got lost

Code:
/usr/include/glib-2.0/glib/gvariant.h:67: error: two or more data types in declaration of ‘parameter’
make[1]: *** [DVDInputStreamMMS.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/hikaricore/src/xbmc/xbmc/cores/dvdplayer/DVDInputStreams'
make: *** [xbmc/cores/dvdplayer/DVDInputStreams/DVDInputStreams.a] Error 2

"For the past week or so I've been getting this error when trying to compile.
I'm running Lucid on both the systems in my house but only get this error on one of them. O.o
Obviously the issue lies on the system in question and it's very possible I've overlooked something simple.
I'm not using any special configure flags or any source modifications.
I've thus far purged my git pull entirely and re-downloaded everything
Then I've als removed and purged all the dependencies and reinstalled them.

Prior to about a week ago I had no trouble, just looking for a few ideas anything I may have overlooked. >.>
I'm currently attempting a make with all errors ignored to see if anything else pops up.

** I had intended to post this in the Linux forum but I seem to have posted it here instead. This is what happens with way too many tabs open. ** "

I was wondering if he has gotten past this im having the exact same problem compiling xbmc on lucid

spiff said "i believe libmms (which is what pulls the dependency) requires glib-1.x "

does that mean i have to replace glib-2.0 with an older version? if so how do i do that im a bit of a linux noob.-

thanks.

im using rev 28276
