Fast PC - XBMC - Win 7 - Tweaks?
#1
Hi,

Ive been running a PS3 media center for some time, but was tempted by the eye candy of XBMC. So recently built quite a decent media center with a Dual Core 3.17ghz | 4Gb RAM | half decent graphics card | machine running Win7 and a nightly build of XBMC

My query is

All my films are 1080p MKVs and apart from changing run in a full window, nothing else has been tinkered with, but i'm not 100% that all the settings are perfect, and even though i dont get any kind of stutter or pausing, i dont think when the camera pans around or scrolls that it's perferct.... a bit hard to describe (not noticed this before but it may be my TV, I have a Sony Bravia 1080p - not 200mhz)

is there any other tweaks i should do and test

thanks for reading

You asked about camera scrolls and pans that dont look right. Since you weren't very specific I gave it my best guess.

Sounds like your playing a file and not telling xbmc to change the refresh rate to match the video. You can enable this in video settings.
