[OBSOLETE] Pandora Radio (Script) Music Addon
Dixon Butz fix in post 1223 worked for me on the Script Failed messages. Just extracted it to the Pandora addon directory overwriting/merging with existing files.

Many thanks!!

So my 404 error which is preventing Pandora from working. Could it be because:

https://raw.github.com/PromyLOPh/pianoba.../libpiano/

is no longer valid and used in the keys.py which is part of the 'post 1223' solution?? Does anyone know what I change this to to get back up and running?

tried the lastest fixes, getting the following error today:

Failed to authenticate listener. check username/password and try again later.

Pardon the newbie here. Trying to install pandora on ATV2
I have downloaded and placed the advanced setting.xml file in the appropriate location ( /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/)

I am still getting the add-on does not have the correct structure error.

I downloaded the advances settings file from fusion.xbmchub.com and it has the following structure.

Is there something I am missing in the file? Thanks in advance

check the changes in ( https://gitorious.org/~rivy/xbmc-pandora...mc-pandora ) - they work fine on both XBMC's master branch and the XBMC4XBOX port(With some manual folder creation, due to some directory and Plugin handling changes).

Also, make sure you don't have both spbogie's and rivy's installed at the same time.

I'm using xbmc 12 on the Raspberry pi. The addon will run for a little bit than randomly it will freeze the entire machine. The xbmc.log has this right before it happens

Any ideas on what it causing it to lock up?

post 1223 worked for me (got the script running again, after a "failing to load").

Eden/linux.

I figured out how to keep the INFO up. You need to this entry in AdvanceSettings.xml

songinfoduration>600</songinfoduration> I put 600 seconds to account for any length of song (except in the Garden of Eden by Iron Butterfly)

Can this be done? I'm assuming no, but it'd be great if we could add channels from within xbmc.

I'm sure that adding songs is possible. Problem is that nobody has. No real progress has been made on this addon for the past year. The only changes have been the skins I created and fixes by the community to keep it working when Pandora changes the encryption. I see no reason why someone couldn't clone the repo and go to town.

I don't know much coding outside .NET

This is a great plug and in it's current form doesn't seem too complex. Perhaps adding channels is a different animal.

Try Rivy's branch of the script. https://gitorious.org/~rivy/xbmc-pandora...mc-pandora

This is working for me.

Rivys also fails for me with a similar 404 error. Driving me crazy.

Can anyone confirm how to make sure I have a complete uninstall of it? I'm deleting the addon in XBMC, closing XBMC down completely, then going into the .xbmc dir (Linux) and blowing away anything *pandora*. That should be everything right? Because the rivy version still comes up with author spbogie and has an identical config screen. The script that fails is definitely rivy.pandora... now though as I see that pop-up in the XBMC notification area when the script craps out.

You also need to delete the settings located in .xbmc/userdata/addon_data/
