Hey guys:
I'm experiencing choppy video when trying to stream from my nas to my HTPC. I'm running gigabit lan and can copy at 20 Megabytes per second so I seem to think that it is an issue with XBMC and not the speed of my connection.
Ubuntu 9.10 x86
Kernel 2.6.31-20-generic-pae
XBMC 1.9.11
Log file is here:

Log File Playing a 1080p Video

I have no idea why the video is choppy I did some testing on my network and like i said i was getting speeds within Gnome of 20 megabytes per second steadily when transferring from my nas to my local hdd. MTU in ubuntu is set to 7000 the connection is set to 1000 full duplex. The Nas mtu is set to 9000 mtu and the link speed is set to 1000. If there's anything else required please let me know.
After performing further testing I figured out that this is solely a xbmc issue because the files run smooth using vlc in ubuntu.
