Thanks for posting the ticket. I never posted one.
I have managed to reduce the ISO load time to 20 secs and assumed it was something I will live with. As you said in your ticket its only the forst time it loads anyway.
I look forward to see if there is a fix.

Hi ,
i'm using the xbmc darma beta 2 on my atv (linux). I noticed that when playing my movies (iso and hd using crystal bcm 700015) every 5 minutes or so the playing stall for a short monent and then continues. It is watchable, but becomes annoying . I've tried several video settings but I cannot seem to solve it. The movies are located on an ext3 usb hard drive connected to the atv.
(Also I have bluetooth and I have samba server and netatalk enabled on this drive, but I cannot see any issues directly as a consequense of this. Also I have a cdrom connected to the system)
Does anybody has a clue what can be the cause of this short stutter every few minutes and how I could solve this?
the processor load and such seem normal.
With regards,

Hi,
I tried everything on my atv linux to solve this, but I have no clue anymore.
I have updated all drivers and such to the most recent (alsa, crystal, nvidia etc).
Every few minutes my xbmc.log gives the following output.
WARNING: CALSADirectSound::GetSpace - get space failed. err: -32 (Gebroken pijp)
Gebroken pijp = broken pipe.
At this mpment audio and video freeze for a fraction of a second and then resumes. Since it happens a lot (during both hd with crystal support and with normal libmpeg) it is very annoying. Changing settings in xbmc seem to have no effect, but I of course do not know that for sure.
Is there some xorg setting or such that can cause this? Anyone having the same issue?
upgrading the drivers seemed to have some influence but did not solve it.
With regards ,
Jan
