Video settings....?

Just by chance stumbled on the "o" button whilst watching a movie and noticed this

D(video: MPEGVIDEO, YUV420P, 720x576 [PAR 64:45 DAR 16:9]

Have to admit this means nothing to me but I assume that means I am watching at 420p? Is this correct?

Watching on a full HD TV so do I need to change some setting to make it...erm better :confused2:

It's means you're watching a PAL dvd.

You always have to consider the source of what it is that you are watching.

Even with a full HD tv -> if the movie you are watching isn't HD.. you won't see HD.

yuv420p = yuv 4:2:0 planar. nothing to do with resolution, everything to do with color space. 720x576 however, that's a PAL dvd.
