how do i write to usb hdd wirelessly on XBMC Live?
#1
hi guys,

ive recently bought an acer revo and successfully installed xbmc live from various tutorials on these pages, and so far it's all be going well.

my issue is, i have a (HFS+) 1TB USB HDD attached, and it quite happily plays all media on, wrote to it to create the .tbn files and stuff, my question is, how do i put new content on the drive from my macbook? i've used Fugu and Transmit to log in (username: revo password: revo, which i created on install), and it seems to only want to write to the /home/revo folder. if i navigate to /media/myusbhdd it will only read the files, and if i try to write it gives me 'handle failure' errors, in both clients.

is it something simple i'm missing? i've searched all the forums for an answer but couldn't find one.

cheers
