Video Stutter
#1
Hello, i lately purchsed an htpc with these specifications:

-Core 2 Duo E7500, 1066Mhz, s775, 3MB Tray
-GIGABYTE EP43-UD3L s775 C2Q 1333Mhz, Intel P43, DDRII 1333, PCI-E
- DDR II 1066Mhz 2x2GB G.Skill PI Black Edition Dual Channel
-Western Digital 1TB IntelliPower, 64MB, SATA II WD10EARS
- Zotac GT220 1GB GDDR3 DX10.1 DVI HDMI PCI-E
-Windows 7

i use the latest 9.11 version of xbmc with all video/system settings set on default.
the problem is that i get a very annoying stutter in any mkv file i play on xbmc, most of my files are 720p. when watching the log i see the cpu usage picks at 50% and only 5 frames lost at most in any movie, but actually watching the movie seems like alot more then 5 frames are dropped, the movie is really stuttering.

now using the "sync playback to screen" option using the "video clock (resample audio)" syncing method seems to make the playback abit smoother but still laggy sometimes.

i use Sony Bravia 52kdl5500 as my screen and desktop resolution is set to 1920x1080

i would thank you for some help on this...
