Acer Revo 3610, and here is the problem
I am using audio over hdmi. DVD iso and navigation sounds work perfectly. But...I get no sound when playing an audio mp3 or when playing a mpeg2 video. I have searched and tried many etc/asound.conf files.
Does anyone have a similar experience, a solution or advice on how to begin troubleshooting. Thanks.
