Hi, i installed the 9.11 Live and it's amazing.

I'd like to add the LiveTV support using VDR, i put the PPA repos in the apt sources, add the key and update.

When i'm going to apt-get install xbmc, it tells me that i already have the latest version, and of course i haven't any TV menu on the screen.

Am i mistake something?

The PVR isn't in the current release. It's in its own branch of the code. Maybe in the release after 10.05?

ok, but the question is, can i install the pvr version from the ppa repos in the LIVE ,or i have to install it in a regular ubuntu 9.10?

I think you can install it in either, but in Live there's some other things you need to install first. Check out the upgrading Live thread..
