Hey everyone,
I was just watching a movie with lots of dark scenes.
During these scenes, I have noticed that in XBMC (aeon) the
screen automatically turns dark (brightness) and seconds later turns up again.

Its very annoying, is there a way I can turn this off? (so that the brightness remains
the same throughout the movie) ?

You have dynamic contrast or Dynabrite (Toshiba name for dynamic backlighting) turned on on your TV. AFAIK, XBMC (or any other program) cannot dynamically adjust your TV backlight
