Hi,

When you select music or movies it always defaults to the top level, and not custom artwork is displayed.... is it at all possible to default the view to the first film | album?

Maybe try, Settings/appearance/File Lists "Disable show parent folder items" ...or
Set the wanted lib. view as default ..
Can't guess to much more
