UI refresh rate - how to get 1080p ?
#1
I can't get 1080p/60Hz signal from XBMC.
If I choose default, it sends 1080i/60 when displaying UI (not when movie is playing).
I set "match refresh rate to fps" option or something like that, and use video clock as master (audio drop/dup).
When I play movies it sends correct 1080p/24 for 99% of the movies.
For 25 fps movie I get 1080p/50, but I never get 1080p/30 or 1080p/60.
Is it expected behavior ?

Play a 30 fps video and XBMC will switch to 60 hertz.
The idea is to switch the refreshrate to an exact multiple of the video fps to prevent judder.

I'll check, I think my camcorder outputs 30 fps by default, so I'll try to play mkv files that got capturing from it.

So it is OK to get 1080i for UI itself ?
If I choose 1080/50Hz I get 1080p even when no movie is played, so I assumed for 1080/60Hz I should get 1080p as well.
