Search Function in File Mode

Is there a way to have search button in file mode?
And no there is no option to me using library mode.

I have hundreds of video files that aree not in my library, but only in file mode.
I want to be able to search for a file name within the current directory.

Is that Possible?

Use the list filtering/jumping stuff. eg SHIFT-A
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.

Hmmm, Thats not possible because Im using XBMC on a ashrock HTPC.
But even If I was using windows my video files are named like this:

National Geographic - ab
National Geographic - gf
National Geographic - vs
National Geographic - tb

So that not a solution :/

You can jumpsms or filtersms or nextletter/prevletter. filtersms works on words not just the first word.

Cheers,
Jonathan
