Hi there, i have a setup using the DS207+ and an xbox XBMC install. The best way i have found to setup is as follows:

File sharing protocol i just use upnp it seems to be the easiest way and is fast enough.
Media seperation i have a folder for movies and a folder for TV shows, each movie file has the original file name in it's own folder (this is for using subtitle look ups if needed, also means subs are in respective movie folder) which i rename to the title of the movie (use folder names for scraper lookup) to seperate animated etc i use genre to browse the library and it works well. Tv shows i just put them in a folder with the TV show name and have all the seasons in one folder, you can use the library again to seperate these out. Hope it all makes sense! let me know if it helps Smile
