It's really up to the skinner to decide what he/she likes and thinks most other people will like. When one person on this forum says "I think it will look better if you change x to y", it really shouldn't impact the skin since this is just *one* person's preference. There will be thousands of people downloading this skin and just because someone spoke up does not imply representation of the majority.

Once there's a forum for suggestions and there's a bunch of people suggesting something, it makes sense to consider a change.

Alot of it boils down to the phrasing of the suggestion...

"Example 1 looks terrible you should change it"

instead of:

"I like the look of Example 1 but I think it might be better if it was changed to something different"

Sounds more polite and respectful..

@mcborzu: Perhaps your statement might work better like:

"Perhaps Example 1 might look or work better if it was done like <insert_necessary_detail_to_adequately_describe_why_it_may_be_better> instead"

I know I can ignore a lot of what appears to be** "bad attitude" in a post if it contains reasonable arguments as to why a particular thing should be improved.

Fortunately most people around these parts are pretty respectful of each other, so I hardly ever have to overlook Smile

Guys... C'mon, you're all going off topic here.
Fact is, peoples opinions do matter. People criticise, people appreciate, people dislike. The way i see it, don't post a forum topic showing progress if you're not open to suggestion, criticism.. whether it be good or bad.

Welo is looking awesome. Can't wait for release, in the mean time lets keep this post clean and informative.

I like your startup, but I think the animations are too slow because my wife would slap me around the head if I made her wait for her XBMC goodness that long!

Hope thats an option you can turn on and off as i dont feel it looks all that good makes it less pro but thats just me.
