Hdmi & s/pdif
#1
I am currently testing out a computer with XBMC Live and currently have an nvidia HDMI video card and the video output is great. I have an issue though. I am currently running audio through the on board out put as the mother doesnt support S/PDIF. The HDTV that I am using has some sort of feature that can tell if the video card supports S/PDIF and shuts down the mini and rca ports. Is there a S/PDIF pci card that I can purchase that will plug into the HDMI card to provide audio to my HDTV.

Thanks

looks easy enough to do with any sound card with RCA spdif out.

the newer 200 series cards don't need the audio from a separate source so if you can get one of these, you wont need to wory about it.
