[Linux] - Can i view XBMC on another PC?
#1
Hi guys,

Just looking for some help.

I have a Acer Revo and installed xbmc 9.11 on it and it boots directly into xbmc. Now at the moment this is in the office and connected to my hdmi tv. But i will be putting it ion the living room when i have sorted most of the shares out (coming from a media server).

Now is there a way i can see the xbmc (acer revo) on my main desktop pc so can edit one or 2 things on it or would i need to go into the living room and back all the time (if renaming files etc, putty, wincp)

Any help would be great

It is not clear what you mean. Obviously you can access it with putty or wincp, what do you mean? If you you want to access the xbmc gui thats another matter, it is possible but not good and I dont see any reason to do it. If you want to access a background desktop session that is also possible, I recommend nxserver for that.
