[WINDOWS] Library Not Updating
#1
So I installed XBMC on my laptop months ago. It all installed without a hitch, there were no problems. And, there was a nice "update library" button.

So today, I installed it on this computer (the most recent version). Nothing I do will get the library to update at all, and when I manually add a movie to it it stares at it like it's something it's never seen before. Nothing has any data but movie posters. I've selected everything, I'm using IMDB as my scraper, and I am just helplessly and beyond lost.

Has some major element changed to make XBMC impossible to use?

That will depend on the version you are using? see here http://xbmc.org/theuni/2010/03/01/impend...ge-addons/

I am using 9.11. It's listed as a stable release.

Now that we've established you're running 9.11 Camelot, provide a debug log for review.

edit:
Also, scraping data is an imperfect science. The scrapers need to be kept up to date to match the website that they are scraping.

Nothing even gets in the library. And when I manually add it, nothing gets updated. Also, it's a fresh install.

Without a debug log, you'll get very little help. So... Outside of Xbmc, rename your existing myvideos database file. This will force Xbmc to create a brand new blank one. Start Xbmc up and enable debug logging. Redefine your content settings and scan. Then post the debug log on pastebin and post a link here.
