What's the "action" initiatied in xbmc when you click "exit XBMC"
#1
I'm trying to run XBMC on windows, and I'd like to map the action to F8 (mute) so that I can use a single key to exit XBMC to the windows desktop and then the same key to get back into XBMC. However, to do that, I need to know the proper action for exiting xbmc (not shutdown the computer), and I can't seem to find it.

any help; thanks.

xbmc.quit - as you could easily have found by checking the confluence xmls (like i did). or the wiki.
