Big disclaimer up front - I'm completely new to the world of XBMC!!
Bought at Acer Aspire Revo last week after reading about the wonders of it - have to say I'm stunned. After using a PS3 for my streaming (or lack of as the case may be) requirements - this rocks.
One problem though - the only skin that truly is stable for me is Mediastream. I'm using the main Live download from the main screen and installed to my HDD from a USB stick.
Mediastream works really nicely nut every other one I've tried - Aeon, Showmix, Rapier, Alaska has been really glitchy - lots of crashes out to a prompt, restarts and just missing menus and the like.
Any ideas what could cause this or am I missing something really obvious - like those skins don't work with the Live version on the main screen
