HDMI Audio Nvidia 9500
#1
mainboard with onboard hdmi,spdif and analog audio connectors.
nvidia 9500gt (hdmi)

With the new graphic card VDPAU is working but no audio over hdmi.
My TV haven't any digital audio decoder or something. Only stereo over hdmi connection i guess.

1. I've connected the motherboard's internal SPDIF pins to the graphic card.
2. Installed xbmc-9.11-live-repack to hdd.
3. aplay -l
Code:
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 0: ALC888 Analog [ALC888 Analog]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 1: ALC888 Digital [ALC888 Digital]
  Subdevices: 0/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
4. Created ~/.asoundrc file as:
Code:
pcm.!default{
    type hw
    card 0
    device 1
    channels 2
}
5. Tried every settings on XBMC-> SYSTEM-> AUDIO (analog-digital; default, hdmi, iec958)
6. No sound in videos.
If i choose digital audio output, "failed to initialize audio settings..."
But there is sound in the menus.:confused2:

Please help... thanks in advance.
